Narco Terror now available on consoles and PC

Deep Silver and Rubicon Organization’s blast-a-thon brings on some classic arcade action today.

When the daughter of ex-special ops agent, Rick Quinn, is kidnapped, he becomes a one-man army that goes on a mission from the docks of Miami to the rivers of South America. The secret technology Quinn has been working on to stop the drug cartels’ latest trafficking technique of using narco submarines has put him in the cross-hairs of a long lost friend. When Quinn discovers that his ex-partner, Jay Delgado, is running the subs and the cartel that took his daughter, this fire-powered vendetta gets personal.

If that doesn’t sound like the setup for a Schwarzenegger (or possibly Van Damme) movie, I don’t know what does.

In addition to the awesomely old school storyline, Narco Terror touts an “arsenal of customizable weapons, different ammo types from explosive rounds to tesla coils, grenades, power-ups, upgrades and character progression”. In addition to the on foot action, you’ll also be able to pilot various types of aircraft and even tanks as you play through both 2D and top-down segments. And of course, you’ll also be able to grab a buddy and play through Narco Terror co-op style with a little drop-in/drop-out action.

Narco Terror is available now for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC and will cost you 800 MS points and $9.99 respectively.
