Martian Manhunter DLC now available for Injustice: Gods Among Us

The Manhunter from Mars is ready to tussle with Superman and his regime in NetherRealm’s Injustice: Gods Among Us.

The last of his kind, Martian Manhunter was accidentally teleported to Earth where he joined forces with the Justice League. As the he encounters the tyranny of Superman’s regime in the world of Injustice, will he let the Man of Steel reign supreme, or will he join the insurgency and fight for the freedom of his adopted planet?

J’onn J’onzz is about as classic a DC Comics character as they get and was beyond conspicuous by his absence in Injustice: Gods Among Us. NetherRealm has finally added in the long time Leaguer and now that he’s in the game, I have to wonder who’s next?

Martian Manhunter is just the first of the next round of DLC characters for Injustice, a game who’s roster has already seen the addition of General Zod, Batgirl, Lobo and Mortal Kombat’s Scorpion. Of course, there’s still a legion of characters that fans would still like to see included- personally, I’d like to see the Red Lantern’s boss Atrocitous in there sooner or later.

Martian Manhunter (with a bonus skin of Green Lantern John Stewart) is available now to add onto your copy of Injustice: Gods Among Us and will cost you 400 MS points on the Xbox 360 and $4.99 on the PSN.

About Jason

Jason's been knee deep in videogames since he was but a lad. Cutting his teeth on the pixely glory that was the Atari 2600, he's been hack'n'slashing and shoot'em'uping ever since. Mainly an FPS and action guy, Jason enjoys the occasional well crafted title from every genre.

  1. Atrocitous is a good one, but I’d like to see Black Manta as well

  2. Manta would be awesome. There are so many great characters NetherRealm left off the roster though. Aside from the two we mentioned I’d love to see Clayface, Parasite, Mongul, Plastic Man, (Savage) Hawkman, Dr.Fate, Darkseid… Although now that I think abiut it, I’m just going to go ahead and assume some of these are making their way into the inevitable next-gen sequel.
