The classic Duke Nukem side-scrollers (and Manhattan Project) are now up on Steam for your shades wearing, gum chewing, alien shooting pleasure.
Duke fans have Interceptor Entertainment to thank for the Duke 2D revival on the world’s most popular download service. It’s about time that these first Duke Nukem adventures were available more widely and Steam will sure make that a reality.
With the current state of the franchise, it’s nice to see the origins of Duke and play through his platforming history again too since these are actually pretty excellent little action titles. They might not be as well known as Duke Nukem 3D, but that doesn’t make ’em any less fun.
The pack of all three is available right now on Steam for PC and Mac for the price of $9.99 USD, but you can also pick them up separately if you prefer. Duke Nukem 1 is $2.99, Duke 2 will run you the same and Duke Nukem: The Manhattan Project will cost you a measly $5.99 USD; all of which is none too shabby for that much two dimensional ass-kicking.
