Stephen Spielberg’s Disclosure Day debuts new trailer

Disclosure Day is coming up soon in theaters, but there’s a brand new trailer for you to check out right now.

Disclosure, on film

Yeah, we’re thinking that you can probably take that subheading in a few ways. But whatever the case, director Stephen Spielberg’s latest epic is heading to cinemas this summer. It’s also what’s got to be the most hyped movie in a long time pertaining to the topic. By that, of course, we mean UFOs and non-human intelligence. Sure, there’ve been TV shows and comic books tackling the topic in the entertainment sphere, but when was the last movie to do so?

Curious in its timing, this film comes along while a major push is being made in the real world, that urges transparency. If you haven’t been paying attention, reports of UFOs (or UAP, is you prefer) have ben getting major press attention over the last few years. That’s not all either, as the Trump administration has just begun a release process for related governmental files. Will all of this lead up to anything worthwhile? That we don’t know, but it’s mighty interesting in the meantime.

Spielberg’s upcoming film only adds to it too. Centering on a TV personality played by Emily Blunt and Josh O’Connor as an apparent whistleblower, the movie looks like it will dive head first into high strangeness. The latest trailer shows a bit more of that, with psychic phenomena on display, as well as a few more hints as to what Disclosure Day will showcase with its narrative.

If you found out we weren’t alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you? This summer, the truth belongs to seven billion people.

We are coming close to … Disclosure Day.

Universal Pictures press release

Disclosure Day stars Blunt and O’Connor, as well as Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, and Colman Domingos. As mentioned, Spielberg himself is the director, though also crafted the storyline with writer David Koepp penning the screenplay.

Look for it in theaters on June 12th, 2026.
