Get a crash course in Warhammer 40,000 from Lieutenant Titus himself

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 players are getting a crash course in the game’s universe, right from Titus (actor Clive Standen).

In the grim darkness…

It’s certainly no secret that Focus Entertainment and developer Saber Interactive’s Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has finally arrived. The all-out action title hit consoles and the PC earlier this week, and brought with it one of the biggest 40K games of all time. Sales of the tittle have been impressive here in these first few days, seeing it top charts and sporting over 200k players this past Monday on Steam.

With those kind of numbers, there are bound to be a ton of new fans exposed to the fiction at play in Space Marine 2, and they’ve probably found that it’s just a little bit daunting. After all, Games Workshop’s tabletop universe is decades old and loaded with characters, events, and a stunning level of narrative detail. That’s not even mentioning that Warhammer 40K is one of the most unique universes in fiction either. So what’s a new fan to do? Well, maybe you watch Titus Talks from Focus Entertainment?

A new series of videos that’s just debuted today, Titus Talks stars the voice of the game’s protagonist himself, Clive Standen, who’s set to take viewers on a journey through the high points of the grim and dark future. Here in episode one, the series kicks things off with the general setting, as well as some info on the Emperor himself and a bit about the Astartes.

Today’s first episode focuses on introducing players to the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Who is this Emperor? What are the forces at play? Who are the Space Marines, and why is this galaxy in a state of constant war? Presented by Vikings and Taken actor Clive Standen, who voices Lieutenant Titus in game, today’s video lecture serves as the opening to a multi-part series, with the upcoming second episode dedicated to who and what the Space Marines are before the third and final episode discussing what it all means in the grand setting of the game itself.

Focus Entertainment press release

Stay tuned for more of Titus Talks in the near future, and if you haven’t gotten a copy yet, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is out now for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
