Strategy, survival, and role-playing collide in War Hospital

With Nacon publishing, Brave Lamb Studio’s War Hospital is shooting high. The game is looking to meld several play styles in the horror of WWI.

Healing in hell

War Hospital, from Brave Lamb Studio, is definitely looking to do a lot. The game, which is set at the height of World War I, will task players with treating patients in the midst of conflict, while keeping morale up and more.

You play as British doctor Major Henry Wells, in the year 1917. Wells represents hope to the soldiers in his care, which is sure to be where a lot of the role-playing will come in. You can also expect a heavy dose of morality, as Wells’ decisions will obviously directly affect the soldiers in his care. Let’s just say this is a game about war, that doesn’t paint a romantic picture of it.

Along with the unique gameplay, the title is set to deliver as much realism as possible. The British Imperial War Museums worked directly with the dev team to ensure that the War Hospital will be as accurate as possible. Nacon says the title will recreate “the context of the front and its trenches, as well as the medical equipment available at the time.”

There’s no release date for War Hospital just yet, though we do know that it’ll be heading to the PC. You can also wish-list the game on Steam right now.
