Lugosi as Dracula in 2019? Yep, thanks to Legendary Comics the horror great will be donning the fangs in a new book bearing his likeness.
Ah the children of the night…
It has been a while, but once again the most famous on-screen Dracula is back to terrorize a new generation of fans. Of course, Bela Lugosi has been gone from this mortal coil for some, so this isn’t a movie that we’re talking about, but a graphic novel.
The new book will be a direct adaptation of the original novel “Dracula”, and have Lugosi as the vampiric lord.
In the late 19th Century, Dracula, an ancient Transylvanian vampire, moves to England to find fresh blood and spread his evil contagion. There, he encounters two women, Lucy and Mina, who become the targets of his dark obsession. Aided by a group of brave men, Professor Van Helsing arrives on the scene to take on the Vampire Prince in the ultimate battle between the forces of light and dark!
