Agent 47 goes VR with Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded

IO Interactive and XR Games are bringing Hitman 3 into virtual reality on the Meta Quest 3, with Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded.

The world’s top assassin is back. Kind of. While it’s not a completely new game, Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded is more or less a wholly new experience, since it’s presenting its assassination-action in virtual reality. As such, fans of the Agent 47 will be able to experience his missions in first-person, with a new user interface and a new visual style.

That’s not all though, as the game also will give players the chance to go all-out with action, by way of dual-wielding, and also engage with “fluid and natural movement options”. Those will hopefully allow for easy navigation, with an eye towards “speed and stealth”, which would be great since VR can still be a little tricky for more action-oriented stuff at times.

There’s no release date as of yet for Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded, but it should be arriving some time soon. When it does, it’ll be exclusively for the Meta Quest 3.
