McFarlane Toys inks deal with BOOM! Studios for Keanu Reeves’ BRZRKR

The smash hit comic BRZRKR is about to get even bigger with a line of action figures and digital collectibles from McFarlane.

Berserk!

BRZRKR, if you don’t know, is a comic book project from legendary actor Keanu Reeves and writer Matt Kindt. Together with artist Ron Garney, the team’s book focuses on an immortal called the Berserker (who looks a lot like Reeves), who has made his way through the centuries by carving a bloody swath.

A hit in crowd-funding back in 2021, BRZRKR originally hit Kickstarter, but has since been picked up by publisher BOOM! Studios. That’s not the end of things for the title character though, as McFarlane Toys has just announced that its signed a deal to get Reeves’ unstoppable warrior onto fans action figure shelves.

“Having been in the Comic Book industry myself, for nearly 40 years, I’m constantly looking for new characters that seem to be gripping the readership within the comic genre. A few years back a new title called BRZRKR burst out in a huge way, adding yet another high-level character to the pantheon of ‘must-read’ stories. Publisher BOOM! Studios alongside Keanu Reeves have unleashed a force of nature with their new character, and I am sure comic fans of this book will be just as pumped to get their hands on action-figures of this title, as they are the comic.”  – Todd McFarlane, Founder and CEO McFarlane Toys

McFarlane Toys press release

Launching this year, the BRZRKR line will include both digital offerings and 7″ scale physical action figures. And yes, those will come complete with the company’s ultra-articulation, so you should be able to bring the book to life and get some nice poses happening in your displays.

Look for the figures online and at “select retailers” just in time for the holidays, landing sometime this December.
