Bandai Namco takes the wraps off of new Lidia footage, coming to Tekken 8 later this month

Bandai Namco’s Tekken 8 is getting ready to grow again this month, welcoming in Tekken 7’s “Warrior Prime Minister”, Lidia.

If you’re a Tekken fan, then you probably already know all about Lidia Sobieska. A politician with a wicked combat ability, Lidia made her debut back in an update for the arcade version of Tekken 7: Fated Retribution. She’s breaking loose from that cabinet though, and is about to make her way into the recently released eighth edition of the legendary fighting series on consoles and the PC.

While already announced a while back, Lidia got some additional footage shown at the latest entry of Tekken Talk. Thanks to that new look, fans can get an additional glimpse of her “Polskie Karate” in action before she arrives.

Following on the heels of Eddy Gordo, Lidia expands Tekken 8’s roster yet again, building out past that already pretty chunky 32 characters that fans got at launch.
