It’s no mercy, as Shaheen sets his sights on Kazuya in today’s Tekken 8 trailer

The latest member of the roster to get a spotlight trailer, Tekken 8’s desert warrior Shaheen takes the fight to the Mishima.

The sand, it’s everywhere

If you’ve been following along on the road to Tekken 8’s launch, then you’ve no doubt been getting a full education as to the game’s roster. That’s come by way of a series of spotlight videos, each one highlighting a fighter and his or her abilities.

The latest of those stars Shaheen, a warrior with a very personal grudge against the Mishima clan, and Kazuya in particular.

Next on the agenda is Shaheen, a private military specialist who has made it his mission to fight the tyranny of G Corp, holding them responsible for the death of his best friend, Salim. Skilled in close quarters combat, the “Desert Falcon” is driven by the words of Salim, who told him, “You should use such skills to become a shield for those in need.” After Salim’s death, his sister, Zarif, put Shaheen on a different path, handing him the treasured blade of her dead brother and telling him, “I want you to finish what my brother could not.”

Continuing the Kazama-Mishima storyline in full force, Tekken 8 is heading to retail on January 26th, 2024. Look for it to arrive for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
