Techland and Ubisoft cross For Honor with Dying Light 2 for event kicking off today

Not just cosmetic, but new enemies with new behaviors are hitting Dying Light 2 today, thanks to Ubisoft’s For Honor.

Berserk!

Usually when you’re talking about content crossovers between separate games, from separate publishers, you’re talking about something cosmetic. Maybe a new skin for a weapon or some enemies looks get changed. Something like that. But that’s not the case with the new For Honor Event in Dying Light 2: Stay Human.

Launching today for all versions of the game, the For Honor Event is bringing Kensei, Wardens, and Berserkers to Techland’s post-apocalyptic open-world. Players will find themselves face-to-face with the medieval enemies, in between battling the game’s rotting undead, for some dueling action.

The For Honor Event comes with exciting rewards for defeating the warriors. Earn five Rage Boosters for fulfilling the Participation Goal. Warm-up Goal, on the other hand, grants the player the Berserker’s Hand Axe weapon and blueprint. Achieving the Personal Goal yields Berserker Outfit and Viking Faction Paraglider. And if players come together to reach the Global Goal, everyone will get Warlord’s Shield weapon charm.

Apart from the event, Dying Light 2 Stay Human players can also expect three For Honorbundles. All elements of the Berserker Bundle can be collected by fulfilling the event’s goals, but it can also be bought in the in-game shop, along with the other two. Warden Bundle consists of Warden Longsword weapon and blueprint, Warden Outfit, Knight Faction Paraglider, and Footman’s Flail weapon charm. Kensei Bundle is made up of the signature Kensei’s Nodachi weapon and blueprint, Kensei Outfit, Samurai Faction Paraglider, and Hitokiri’s Mask Charm. Each of the bundles will be available in the store for 500 DL Points.

Techland press release

The above should be live right now in Dying Light 2: Stay Human (it started today at 10am EST), and will close on December 5th, at 10am EST.
