Wizard with a Gun (magically) blasts consoles and PC

Picture it, a wizard… but with a magical bullet-slinger. That’s the premise behind Devolver Digital’s latest Wizard with a Gun.

So actually, Wizard with a Gun launched yesterday on the PC. Publisher Devolver Digital moved it’s launch up just a tad, but we missed the release, so here we are. And in any event, it’s out now for all platforms, so this launch look is now for everybody.

In the game you play as a wizard with a gun, but you probably figured that out already. Anyway, here’s the brand new trailer, in the form of a pretty wicked animated short.

Set in a fractured post-apocalyptic world known as the Shatter, Wizard With a Gun sees you (and a friend if you don’t want to face the horrors alone) crafting an arsenal of magical guns ‘n’ ammo to drive back the forces of Chaos and restore this realm to its former glory.

While animation is great, it’s likely gameplay you’re looking for. And if you are, then keep on scrolling because we have that for you too. Below is the latest look at play, which was released about a month back and showcases Wizard with a Gun’s slick animated style. In it, the title heroes blast their way across decimated fields of combat, against an assortment of nether-worldly creeps.

Again Wizard with a Gun is out today via Steam, as well as PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
