When a letter arrives, inviting members of the defunct Vlad Circus back to a reunion, things start to get a little weird.
Okay, a lot weird
We’ve been covering Vlad Circus: Descend Into Madness for a while, but the horror title officially dropped onto consoles and the PC today. And if you’re unfamiliar with it, it’s looking like a nice little Halloween treat for those who like otherworldly horror.
The tale centers on one Ollie Mills, a clown who used to work for the big top production in question. But as he plans to attend the reunion, Ollie begins having terrible and potentially dangerous hallucinations. They are hallucinations… right?
On a day of sudden tragedy, Vlad Circus’ joyous reputation was replaced with sorrow and mourning. Hundreds were killed in the blazing fire, performers and attendees alike, forcing the once tight-knit troupe to disband. After eight years of no contact, a mysterious letter from the circus’ former ring leader brings the group together again.
Peer into the fractured mind of former circus clown Oliver Mills, aka “Lazy Ollie.” Maintain Ollie’s stress levels while exploring the dark halls of the Victorian-inspired Petrescu Manor. Rekindle old bonds from happier days, even as unspeakable horrors lurk in the shadows.
