Nintendo Download: Fly or Fry

Wrestling-fueled RPG WrestleQuest makes its long awaited arrival on Switch this week, along with Tiny Thor, Brotato, and more.

Oooooh YEAH

Now, for some reason Brotato is the spotlighted game of the week for Nintendo. And while a gun-wielding potato battling hordes of extraterrestrial creeps is great and all, we’re more of the mind that WrestleQuest should be in the catbird seat.

A role-playing game that revels in the golden age of wrestling, WrestleQuest has been a long time coming from developer Mega Cat Studios. And if you’re a fan of that era, especially as goes some of its biggest stars, it’s a game that should be on your radar. WrestleQuest features what looks to be a fairly traditional role-playing adventure, but with wrestlers like Jake The Snake Roberts and Macho Man Randy Savage as major characters. That’s kind of a can’t miss.

As for Brotato, it stars a potato. Now, even though that doesn’t sound all that interesting, this particular spud has a whole bunch of hardware, and is aiming all of that at mashing a horde of aliens. The arena shooter has a coat of retro-ish paint as well, and plays out in roguelike fashion.

Past those, side-scrolling action/puzzle game Tiny Thor looks like a 16bit winner, and of course there’s a massive selection of additional Indies all landing. Scroll down and take a look at what’s hitting.
