The Xbox’ summertime celebration of all things gaming is getting a little creepier, thanks to a demo for Daymare 1994: Sandcastle.
Waking nightmare
Daymare 1994: Sandcastle delivers a gripping narrative inspired by classic survival horror titles, featuring an atmospheric setting, challenging puzzles, and heart-pounding encounters. Developer Invader Studios’ work on the title has garnered praise and acclaim ahead of launch, with numerous interviews, fan live streams, and exciting updates.
Leonardo Interactive press release
A sequel/prequel to Daymare: 1998, Daymare 1994: Sandcastle looks to deliver classic survival horror themes, and a dose of psychological horror. The demo should give players a decent taste of that, as it lands during Xbox Summer Game Fest.
That begins now by the way, and will run through July 17th, during which time you’ll be able to both download and play Sandcastle’s demo. In that, players will get a taste for the style of terror that the full game will serve up, as well as meet main character Dalila Reyes.
As for the full title, that’s not far off. Daymare 1994: Sandcastle will arrive for Xbox and PlayStation platforms, as well as the PC, on August 30th, 2023.
