Trailer: Fueled by Saturday mornings-past, roguelike adventure MythForce is coming up in September

Things are about to get animated for action/adventure fans, as MythForce finally has a release date and will be hitting in September.

Mythical!

MythForce is a roguelike adventure set in the ever-changing Cursed Lands, an immersive cartoon world filled with crypts and castles. Team up with up to four friends in online co-op and unleash your inner hero in intense first-person combat, wielding legendary weapons and powerful magic in an immersive fantasy dungeon crawl that will test your skills and leave you craving for more.

Aspyr press release

Developed by Beamdog, MythForce is meant to evoke the feel of a 1980s Saturday morning cartoon. The title will put up to 4 players up against hordes of foes, in a fantasy world that’s constantly changing, and coughing up “magical artifacts and upgrades” aplenty. Though it’s in Early Access now, the full retail release is going to be a massive bump. The full game will have 3 episodes, unlockable higher difficulty modes, “an overhaul of the meta-progression system”, and drop-in/drop-out co-op.

Grab a snack and forget about your weekend-homework for a while, MythForce hits Xbox and PlayStation platforms, as well as the Switch and the PC this September 12th.
