New C64 and Toaplan carts coming to Evercade this year

The retro-minded console family of Evercade will be welcoming two more carts to its library this year, with additional C64 and Toaplan entries.

If you thought that the release of the new Evercade EXP, with its built-in games, was signaling the end of the company’s physical push, you’d be wrong. Blaze Entertainment isn’t stopping that initiative anytime soon, and has just announced two more carts coming in 2023.

That’s a number that’ll bring the library to 37 before the end of this year. And of course, that number isn’t anywhere near the total number of games that will be out, since every cart is a collection of classics.

But getting back on track, it’s both C64 and Toaplan that will be getting new editions. Scroll down for an in-depth look at both.

C64 Collection 2 includes:

• Mission Impossibubble
• Nebulus
• Pitstop II
• Slayer
• Street Sports Basketball
• Sword of Fargoal
• Uridum
• World Games
• Zamzara

Toaplan Arcade 2 includes:

• Demon’s World
• Fire Shark*
• Hellfire
• Rally Bike*
• Twin Cobra*
• Twin Hawk*
• Wardner

The two newly-announced carts will be available to pre-order as of February 17th, and will see launch on April 28th.
