The Anti-GTA? Police Simulator: Patrol Officers lands this week

Bringing the daily work of local cops to life, Astragon Entertainment’s Police Simulator: Patrol Officers takes to the streets of Brighton this week.

Bad boys

I’m not sure about the “anti-GTA” tag, but Police Simulator: Patrol Officers does look like it has some of the traits of Rockstar’s blockbuster crime series. And of course I mean that as in, it’s the exact opposite.

Instead of running jobs and knocking over banks, players in Police Simulator: Patrol Officers will be able to play through a good deal of what real world officers face on a daily basis. As you can see in the trailer above, that runs the gamut from writing parking tickets to catching perps. Kind of cool, and certainly unique in terms of a video game. The only other title I can think of off the top of my head that’s even in the same realm is Battlefield: Hardline, and that wasn’t very realistic.

If you’re ready to join the force though, you’ll be happy to know that Police Simulator: Patrol Officers is out right now for the PC, as well as Xbox and PlayStation platforms.
