Brand new classes and ancestry heading to Solasta: Crown of the Magister this November

There’s a pretty chunky new DLC pack heading for the strategy/RPG that is Solasta: Crown of the Magister, with a bunch of new classes and more.

Ah the Bard

Yes, there’s a Bard coming to Solasta, but he or she is just the tip of the iceberg. Indie studio Tactical Adventures has revealed that there are a trio of classes, each with 4 sub-classes, coming to the Dungeons & Dragons-themed role-player this November.

Dubbed the Inner Strength pack, the download will include:

  • The Warlock Class, with its 4 subclasses: The Fiend (SRD), The Hive (Solasta), The Timekeeper (Community), The Tree (Lost Valley)

  • The Bard Class, with its 4 subclasses: College of Lore (SRD), College of Hope (Solasta), College of Heroism (Community), College of Tradition (Lost Valley)

  • The Monk Class, with its 4 subclasses: Way of the Open Hand (SRD), Way of Survival (Solasta), Way of Light (Community), Way of Freedom (Lost Valley)

  • The Dragonborn Ancestry

One caveat, and that’s that you might have seen “Lost Valley” tagged onto some of those sub-classes. That’s because you’ll need to have that DLC as well, if you want to unlock those specific possibilities. Otherwise, and if you only have the base game, Inner Strength will net you all of the rest only.

One really cool note though, is that multiplayer won’t require all players to have a copy of the new pack. Instead, only the host needs to have it installed, which opens it up for all players (as long as they’re online).

But wait, there’s more

Along with the paid DLC that is Inner Strength, there’s also some free stuff on the way. That will be open to anyone who owns the base title, and will include quite a bit.

In addition to the DLC content from Inner Strength, free downloadable content will also be released for all players that own the Solasta: Crown of the Magister base game. This will include 17 new feats to add more customization, gamepad support on PC and three new backgrounds known as The Ascetic, The Artist and The Occultist.

Tactical Adventures press release

Look for all of the above to land for Solasta: Crown of the Magister on the PC, this November 14th.
