Trek to Yomi dated, traveling to consoles and PC in May

Devolver Digital and Flying Wild Hog’s stylish back & white samurai adventure, Trek to Yomi, is finally coming home this May.

It’s a hike

It has been a while since we first told you about Trek to Yomi. A far-eastern tale, Trek focuses on a man who’s life has been torn apart, and is on a quest for revenge. Yes, it’s a classic story for sure, but with Trek to Yomi, it’s a particularly interesting take on it.

One of the main reasons for that is the look. As you can see, Trek is presented in black and white. And the monochrome aesthetic is laid out over what looks to be a sturdy action title with some slick swordplay.

Bushido enthusiasts can take a break from studying the blade to drink in more of Trek to Yomi’s gorgeous atmosphere in a newly released extended gameplay video, exploring the beginning of Hiroki’s journey toward retribution.

Devolver Digital

Intrigued? It’s definitely very different for Flying Wild Hog. As we’ve pointed out before, the developer is mainly a FPS-centric one, and this is… well it’s decidedly not that.

Trek to Yomi is most definitely a game to watch. It’s coming up fairly fast too, with a May 5th, 2022 release date just announced. Watch for it on the PC, Xbox Series X|S (with Game Pass), PS5, PS4, and Xbox One.
