Gone is the giant, more Hulk-like Shulkie, as Jennifer Walters returns as The Sensational She-Hulk in a brand new book this coming January.
She-Hulk litigate!
At long last, she’s back. If you missed it, and if you did then you missed a ton, Marvel’s She-Hulk had been… well she’d been less ‘She’ and more ‘Hulk’. Now though, Marvel Comics has announced that the character will be getting back to her roots for a new 2022 series.
The cousin of Bruce Banner himself, Jennifer Walters will be shaking off the rage-monster, and sliding back into some court-ready apparel. That’s to say, til there’s a super-villain to battle.
But as you can see from the preview, even then she’s set to be 100% classic Shulkie.
Following her transformative time in Jason Aaron’s AVENGERS, She-Hulk is eager to put her rage-filled days behind her and return to practicing law in defense of the innocent. She’s got a career to rebuild, friends to reconnect with (and maybe represent in a court of law) and enemies to…well, she may not want to connect with them, but they are DEFINITELY going to connect with her. And when a friend from her past comes knocking with a mystery she can’t resist, she’ll quickly be back to bashing. The last page of this debut issue is going to send Jen down a road she’s never traveled, one that will shake up her life and possibly the whole Marvel Universe.
