As the original hits 1 million sold, Prime Matter and Owlcat Games’ followup to Kingmaker, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous arrives at retail.
Righteous! *guitar sounds*
The original Pathfinder video game, Kingmaker, actually started life as a Kickstarter title. It didn’t stay in obscurity however, as that title has officially gone on to rack up 1 million copies in sales.
As for the sequel, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous looks to bring more of the now-series’ aRPG gameplay to life, and look darn good doing it. Seriously, did you watch the trailer? This is one good-looking adventure.
You’ll be able to actually play it shockingly soon too, as that release date has snuck up. The game arrives on the PC (via Steam, GOG, and Epic) on September 2nd. Prefer to wait for the console launch? Well you’re gonna have a little while. The Xbox and PS4 editions don’t drop ’til March 1st, 2022.
