It was a time of myth and legend, and Sega and Creative Assembly’s strategy war-game is taking full advantage in A Total War Saga: Troy Mythos.
Expanding the realm
Fans of fantasy and sword & sandals epics take note of this one, because there’s a fantastic-sounding expansion coming for Sega’s A Total War Saga: Troy. The Greek-themed strategy title is getting mystical with a new expansion set to arrive this fall.
A Total War Saga: Troy Mythos will expand the original title with a brand new bestiary, and monstrous units to command.
As you can see in that video, there’s a trick to these new monsters. You’ll have to find and tame the likes of the griffon, hydra, and Cerberus, if you want to add them to your army. There’s more than just the biggest of the bads though, as Mythos will also offer units like the “Arimaspoi and Shades from the underworld”, the Centaur, Giants and even the Minotaur.
So there’s a ton to this one, and if you’re a fan of all things mythological, you should find a good deal to dig. Stay tuned for lots more, including a gameplay reveal we have to get to, before A Total War Saga: Troy Mythos arrives for the base game on September 2nd.
