New Godfall trailers drop, along with pre-order info

Gearbox’ newest title Godfall has a fresh trailer, shown this weekend at PAX Online. And along with the look, there’s also some info as to pre-ordering.

Pre-ordering a god

This weekend’s PAX Online show gave fans excited for Gearbox’ latest reason to be happy. The new game, entitled Godfall, is looking pretty interesting indeed, and got not one but two new looks at the kinda/sorta-con.

Those came in the form of a trailer displaying the combat in the game, which looks interesting. Melee-based, battles looks like they’ll be tense affairs, with players needing to exploit weakpoints to succeed.

Gearbox says that they’ll be going into those weak points, as well as “polarity attacks, archon mode, unique weapon class moves and more” soon. For now though, you can check it all out in motion in the trailer below.

As for the second trailer, that one’s a little shorter, and shows off Aegishorn. What’s that? Why it’s a new character… or armor… or something. Just watch.

As for those pre-orders…

There was some pre-order info talked about as well, though only for the PC version of Godfall. As you might be aware, the game will also be appearing on the PS5, as a console exclusive, there that release info is still coming up.

PC gamers though, can look forward to Godfall hitting the Epic Games Store some time this Holiday. And if you’re buying in, then you’ll be doing so by grabbing one of these:

  1. Godfall Standard ($59.99)
    1. Godfall Base Game
  2. Godfall Deluxe Edition ($79.99)
    1. Godfall Base Game + Expansion 1
  3. Godfall Ascended Edition ($89.99)
    1. Godfall Base Game + Expansion 1
    2. Godfall Ascended Digital Cosmetic Contents

On top of what you see above, all Godfall pre-orders on Epic will be stocked with some extras. Those include:

  • …a Godfall Starter Pack of early equipment Augments and Trinkets
  • Chrome Silvermane
  • Phoenix and Greyhawk skin cosmetic variants
  • a yellow Typhon variant
  • and, for the Borderlands fans out there, Zer0’s sword to hack and slash through Aperion
