New Hiya Toys Predator and Robocop figures coming up

Previews magazine has a trio of exclusive Hiya Toys offerings on the way from the rebooted Predator and Robocop films, all set to hit early 2021.

Reboot

As reboots go, neither one of these was honestly all that popular.

The soft reboot of Predator (Predators) released in 2010, while the Robocop redux started completely from scratch in 2014. Both movies were met with middling reviews and worse fan response.

However, if you’re just looking at the designs, well they’re kinda neat. Hiya Toys is picking up on that with the exclusive 1/18th scale items that you see here.

The Predator figure is officially the “Crucified Predator”. If you don’t remember, he was a Pred captured by the “Super Predators” and left for dead on the movie’s alien world. He’s also just kind of an awesome looking Predator, movie besides.

As for the Robocops, they’re both of actor Joel Kinnaman’s Murphy. You get two different paint schemes though, with one being the awesome throwback blue/gray look before the movie saw him repainted in black.

That’s the second figure, so you can have either version of the character, though we all know the better looking one.

All of the above will be exclusive to specialty and comic book shops of course, as they’re carried by Previews magazine. They’re all pre-orderable right now too, for just $19.99 USD each.

Don’t get too excited though, since they’re all a ways off. All three figures aren’t set to ship out till February 24th, 2021.
