NYCC 2019: Mezco One:12 expands with Mr. Freeze, Wonder Woman and more

Yeah, it’s been a while since NYCC, but we’re still catching up on news. That includes some excellent looking stuff from Mezco’s One:12 Collective.

A few surprises

Mezco did an arguably better than usual job with their exclusive for NYCC a few weeks ago. They usually have some excellent stuff out there to pick up, but this year’s Onyx Knight vs Black Mask was flat-out incredible.

The Onyx Knight version of the company’s newest Batman figure has been available elsewhere of course, but the included Black Mask hasn’t. As of right now too, it’s unclear if he will, though I assume he’ll pop up in his trademarked white suit at some point.

While the exclusive was something to see, so were some new announcements. That’s a lot that includes Batman villain Mr. Freeze, which is great to see. Up till now, we haven’t seen too many of Batman’s rogues gallery, just (2 versions of) Joker and Catwoman (if you still count her as a villain). Freeze here though, really opens the door for the Bane’s, Two-Face’s, and Penguin’s of the world. Fingers crossed for a robot Brainiac and Lex Luthor too.

We also saw the recently pre-orderable comics version of Wonder Woman too, which looked great. The likes of Ghost Rider, Morbius, Aquaman, and Conan also made appearances. As you might guess, they all look great too.

Almost everything shown here is supposed to release in 2020 too, so get that bank account ready for impact.
