SDCC 19: Hot Toys showing almost 100 new figures: Star Wars, Avengers, IT and more

It’s going to be a big SDCC this week for collector-grade figure maker Hot Toys. And by big, I mean massive. They’re showing almost 100 new items.

The movies come to life

If you’re somehow unaware of Hot Toys, they’re a company that specializes in making stunning lifelike, incredibly detailed action figures based mainly on movies. The 12″ scale that they work in allows for some of the finest representations of actors and their various heroic and villainous roles anywhere. Simply put, Hot Toys’ product is hard to beat.

According to a new press release too, it’s expanding in a big way. Not that they didn’t already have an impressive array of licenses, but now they’ve added IT and DC Comics TV. Add to those a ton of additional new figures from already existing licenses and you have a booth that you’re going to want to stop at.

That, of course, will be the Sideshow Toys booth, #1929. That’s Hot Toys’ official home, since they distribute exclusively through Sideshow.
