Prepare for battle. Activision has unleashed the first look at the new multiplayer gameplay from the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare reboot.
The obsession begins again
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is looking good. Actually, make that “looking great”, as the game wowed at E3 with stunning visuals and a visceral, intense, and gritty style that’s been missing from CoD’s most recent outings. Simply put, it’s looking like a breath of fresh air for a series that’s waned a bit.
And if the multiplayer is as much fun as these new screens make it look to be, CoD might be firmly back in the driver’s seat for the genre once again. Not that it was all that long ago that it was the game of choice for multiplayer-shooter fans anyway, but you get the point.
What we’ve got here is a pair of screenshots that show off some very different angles on the multiplayer end of the game.
No, two shots aren’t a lot, and it more than likely won’t satisfy those dying for a more in-depth look at the title. It is better than nothing though, and should give you a feel for what developer Infinity Ward will have out there when Call of Duty: Modern Warfare hits consoles and the PC this fall.
