Updates delayed for Warhammer 40k Inquisitor

The all-new expansion “Prophesy” will see a bit of a deal in arriving for Warhammer 40k: Inquisitor, though the wait won’t be too long.

Prophesy delayed

Have you played Inquisitor – Martyr? Released last year, the aRPG from NeocoreGames brought the world of 40k to life in an action RPG for the first time.

With a huge swath of the Warhammer 40k galaxy to play in, gamers took on the role of an Inquisitor. Their task was to solve a mystery that had the dark gods of Chaos at its core.

Following up on that initial effort, is Prophesy. A grand expansion of the original game, Prophesy goes beyond what was offered in even Inquisitor – Martyr’s meaty DLC packs. This is almost a whole new game, even functioning as a stand-alone release for those who didn’t buy into the “base” game.

And unfortunately for fans, it’s getting a slight delay. It’s not a huge stay, but Warhammer 40k: Inquisitor – Prophesy will not be arriving today. Yeah, I know, they definitely cut the announcement a little close.

Instead of today, the game won’t be available for purchase till the 20th of June. So it’s a little less than a month off now. Not awful, but if you were excited to get back into Inquisitor, a little aggravating.

For its part, NeocoreGames says that the extra time is needed to make the game as “polished” as possible. Along with this announcement too, comes word that the patch for Inquisitor – Martyr will be delayed as well.

Version 2.0 of that won’t be coming around till July 30th.
