Go back to where it all began, straight from what might be Rage 2’s closing moments. And maybe see a few giant sand worms along the way too.
Raging again
There’s little in Rage 2 that actually looks to harken back to the original game in the series. That title was coated with more of a gritty, original Mad Max-y vibe. It definitely had a more realistic tilt too (as much as possible anyway). Rage 2 though, seems to be way more like Fury Road. Well, Fury Road with a semi-neon, somewhat 80s color palette anyway.
Apparently, it’s also a game that has a giant sand worm… thing. That’s something that we haven’t seen in any previous trailer, which makes you wonder what else might be lurking around in Rage 2’s world.
Oh, and the launch trailer most definitely is NSFW. So if you’re anywhere that anyone can hear the following trailer, you might want to turn it waaaaay down. Or just pop in some headphones.
Complete with a massive arsenal, and a selection of superpowers, Rage is looking better than ever in this first sequel. It’s coming top fast too, with a launch set for May 14th for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
