From Software’s latest, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is almost here. The game promises tough combat, plus some innovation, and looks visually stunning.
Resurrection
There seems to be a lot happening in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. And, at least at present, it seems to be a much more player-friendly “Souls-like” than we’ve seen before. Depending on which side of the debate you land on, that could be a really good thing.
Not that Sekiro looks like it’ll be an easy play through. I’m pretty sure it won’t be. But even so, its mechanic of stealth attacks and resurrection certainly makes things a tad more comfortable.
And if you’ve been looking to play one of From’s titles, but you’re a little unsure because they have such a tough as nails rep, this might be the jumping on point for you.
As a non-fan of Souls games myself, even I’m a little tempted by what Sekiro looks to offer. Not only does its approach offer some nice new innovations, but the game itself also looks flat-out stunning.
Pretty sharp. If Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is looking good to you too, you’ll be happy to know that its is just about ready for retail. The game is set to draw its blade on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC this week, on Friday the 22nd.
