The “Fresh Start” era is coming, and that means there’s an all new Avengers lineup on the way as well. It’s going to be a big shift back to the iconic heroes that you know and love. So you best believe Marvel Comics is going to celebrate big time.

Avengers, assemble!

If you’re a longtime Marvel fan, it’s tough to not love this lineup. Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man headline a team that also includes some heroes that perfectly fit the “Avenger” mould. That group includes She-Hulk, Captain Marvel, and Black Panther. Not that all of them are a perfect fit (to me anyway), since Doctor Strange and Robbie Reyes’ Ghost Rider are there too.

Still, this is the first time in a while that I was actually excited to pick up an Avengers book. And if the enthusiasm that’s apparent online is any indication, this could be a book to get pumped for. Not to mention, add to your pull list.

To celebrate that newfound reinvigoration of the brand (when it comes to comics), Marvel will be promoting a series of lithographs. These illustrations will come from the talented hand of Pepe Larraz, and include what looks to be a series of spotlight shots. The one that Marvel sent to us is of Thor and the Panther, and they look pretty freaking awesome.
