Although these games have been out for awhile on other consoles, the only console that should matter for Mega Man is getting the collections in a few months.
May Release Date:
The Mega Man Legacy Collection 1+2 will be hitting shelves for the Switch on May 22. Although there is no price set for the games, I can see them going for $60.00. Both games will come in one physical package. The box will include a cartridge with the first legacy collection and include a download code for the second game.
It is not clear if it will be possible to buy the collections separately on the eShop, but honestly, the whole package is the way to go anyway.
The Mega Collection:
If you buy this collection, you will have access to every mainline Megaman game that has ever released on the Switch. This doesn’t include the X games, which will be releasing in their own collections later this year.
I don’t know about you, but owning all 10 Mega Man games on a single Nintendo console is an incredible prospect to me. Mayy 22 can’t come fast enough.
