The next Call of Duty might be going back to basics with WWII, but it’s also pushing ahead with a social hub called Headquarters.
Orders from Headquarters
Honestly -and this is coming from someone who’ll probably barely use HQ- but this looks pretty awesome. Though it’s billed as a social hub by EA, Call of Duty: WWII’s Headquarters is poised to offer gamers quite a bit in the way of play.
Not only can you use HQ as a hub to meet and greet fellow players and your buddies, but it has actual activities as well. As you saw in the trailer above, there are quite a few.
There’s a Firing Range, a one on one Pit, a Theater for watching matches, and even AA guns to man. Activision promises that there are more activities on top of all that as well. So there’s more than enough to keep you occupied in between matches or when you’re taking a break from the campaign.
Remember too, that the closed beta is kicking off this week, on the 25th. All you have to do to get into that is pre-order the game (digitally or physically). Then sit tight, Call of Duty: WWII arrives on consoles and the PC on November 3rd.
