Official Trailer for “War for the Planet of the Apes” Drops

The first full length trailer for “War for the Planet of the Apes” dropped this morning on 20th Century Fox’s youtube account.

“War” is the third movie in the rebooted series. The rebooted series began in 2011 with James Franco’s “Rise of the Planet of the Apes.” Between the original five-film series beginning in the 60’s and the new movies, Tim Burton took a swing at the classic in 2001. Although that one was pretty universally panned, it did great work to keep costumes faithful to the original series.

The first two films in the reboot have been great ventures, offering an alternative look at how the ape revolution came about. In this trailer, we hear Andy Serkis’ Ceasar and Woody Harrelson offering their side’s perspective. Take a look at the trailer and let us know what you think below!
