After months of subpar and average line-ups, July’s PlayStation Plus games sees a stacked deck of goodness for PlayStation owners to sink their teeth into.
Leading the charge on PlaytStation 4 is Saint’s Row: Gat Out of Hell, the standalone expansion for Volition’s open world sandbox game Saint’s Row 4. Gat Out of Hell stars the protagonist Johnny Gat in an epilogue to SR4. Also available for the PS4 is boss battler Furi, developed by French studio The Game Bakers. Takeshi Okazaki, creator of Afro Samurai, is behind the character design, and the game also packs a killer electronic soundtrack.
For those you who still have your PS3’s plugged in, you can download Ubisoft’s 2009 western shooter Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, as well as real-time strategy game Fat Princess. PS Vita owners can get JRPG Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines alongside Prince of Persia: Revelation, a handheld remaster of Warrior Within.

While it has already undergone beta testing on PC, the developers are now bringing it over to PS4, with the beta beginning on August 16. PS Plus members get to try it out even earlier, and the game can be downloaded from the store right now.
Sony will update the PS Plus games on July 5. If you’ve missed June’s games, there’s still time to grab them before the store refreshes. Happy gaming!
