Zoolander 2 release date revealed as Derek and Hansel walk the runway

Paris fashion week (going on right now) got a very unexpected pair of models as Derek Zoolander and Hansel (he’s so hot right now) walked the runway to announce the release date for Zoolander 2.

Special note- this is probably the only time ever that you’re going to see something from Fashion Week covered on BG. But even though we normally don’t get into the world of high fashion, as fun stuff goes, this is pretty high on the list. Ben Stiller’s goodball comedy about the world of male modeling started out as a cult hit, but has become something of a favorite with plenty of fans since its release way back in 2001. The actor has been working on the sequel for a while now, and what better way to celebrate the official release date than to take to the runway with Owen Wilson ( both reprising their roles as models Zoolander and Hansel) walking right alongside him.

The pair did the strut during the Valentino show yesterday, during Paris Fashion Week, which was actually showcasing the house’s work for their 2015-16 women’s line. Still though, Derek and Hansel seemed to be right at home… though it looks like there might still be some animosity between the two from that flash of ‘blue steel’ at the meeting point.

We’ll find out when Zoolander 2 hits theaters on February 12th, 2016.
