Deep Silver Volition has released information about the upcoming re-release of “Saints Row IV The Re-Elected Edition” and the stand alone game featuring Johhny Gat, “Gat out of Hell.” Both games will release on January 20, 2015 in the U.S and January 23, 2015 in the UK.

Saints Row IV and Gat out of Hell are to be released January 20, 2015 across all platforms.

“Gat out of Hell” is a stand-alone adventure featuring everyone’s favorite Saint, Johhny Gat. During the events of Saints Row 3, Johhny Gat died. Now he is back and he is taking the fight to hell but he is not alone. Kinzie Kensington, hacker extraordinaire, joins Gat as they fight to save the Boss’ soul from hell. Players will be able to switch between the two characters as they search across a new free-roam world, New Hades, filled with plenty of fart jokes and quick wit.

Both games have a pre-order bonus. Pre-order “Saints Row IV: The Re-Elected Edition” and receive the “Plague of Frogs” pack. This includes Jezebel outfit, Demon outfit, and Lil’ Croaker weapon which can be used in “Saints Row IV.” Pre-order “Gat out of Hell,” and receive “Devil’s Workshop.” This will include Shakespeare’s Skull weapon and a Saints Wings skin for Gat/Kinzie. If the trailer video is any indication of what to expect from Deep Silver Volition, then expect an outrageous story full of movie references and quirky jokes. Did I mention the steady stream of fart jokes?
