Rockstar Games has confirmed that the port will offer a brand new way to experience Los Santos.
Not only was this something of an unexpected announcement, but it kind of changes the whole game. So if you’ve already played through GTAV on last generation hardware, there’s even more of a reason to come back to it. Well, to be fair, there were a bunch of reasons already.
First off, there’s the vastly improved graphics, and that was no easy task since the game already looked pretty phenomenal on the Xbox 360 and PS3. Then you’ve go the new missions, vehicles, and weaponry that Rockstar just announced as a gift to those who are importing their saves from those last-gen consoles onto their shiny new Xbox One’s and PS4’s.
All in all, there’s a lot there to like already; add on the FPS mode that basically changes the entire experience, and you’ve got a title that big time GTA fans should find it pretty difficult to say no to. If you fall in to that category, then you might want to mark your calendars, as Grand Theft Auto 5 arrives on the Xbox One and PS4 on November 18th. Waiting for the PC version? That drops this coming January.
