There are going to be a lot of DC characters to play as and against in the newest LEGO Batman title from Warner Bros and Traveller’s Tales. A LOT.
LEGO games, especially LEGO superhero games, are kind of known for squeezing in as many characters as possible and it definitely looks like there’s no skimping going on here. Not only will the usual suspects of Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, and villains like Lex Luthor and Joker be present in LEGO Batman 3, but also the likes of a whole bunch of ‘spectrum’ Lanterns like Atrocitus and tons more.
If you have a favorite, or a group of favorites, chances are that you’ll find some representation in this one. The variety of locales look like a DC fan’s dream too, and I’m pretty sure I even spotted Gorilla City in there. Bigger in scope than any previous DC LEGO game (though you could probably extend that statement to other LEGO series’ as well), LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is shaping up to be one that fans of the Dark Knight and the DC pantheon probably shouldn’t miss out on.
The game is set to hit the Xbox One, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and 3DS some time later this year.
