Gamescom 2014: Crytek opens the Arena of Fate

The arena battler with Robin Hood, Achilles, and Little Red Riding Hood gives gamers a better look at gameplay.

So what’s really setting Arena of Fate apart from pretty much any other MOBA is the character list. Crytek has stacked the game’s roster with some of the best known literary, historical, and fairy tale characters on Earth and set them all at each other in straight-up combat.

I’m personally not much of a MOBA guy, but that does intrigue… The full roster for this 5 on 5 battle title hasn’t been announced as of yet either, so there’s sure to be even more characters in there to entice players to give it a shot in what’s really becoming a pretty crowded genre.

No release date as of yet for this one either, but you can keep tabs on it and apply for beta entry by clicking here.

About Jason Micciche

Jason's been knee deep in videogames since he was but a lad. Cutting his teeth on the pixely glory that was the Atari 2600, he's been hack'n'slashing and shoot'em'uping ever since. Mainly an FPS and action guy, Jason enjoys the occasional well crafted title from every genre.
