Might makes right in new Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare trailer

Kevin Spacey might not be the best guy in the world in the new Call of Duty.

With what certainly seems like one of the more interesting campaigns in recent ‘military shooter’ history, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare looks like it’s turning the long standing franchise in some very new directions. Not only is the whole nationalistic element gone in favor of the PMC-focus, but it’s almost straight up sci-fi in tone. Almost.

It wouldn’t be a CoD title without a heavy dose of realism, even for an installment that’s got futuristic tech aplenty. Pretty much everything in the game has a real world base, and most of it is actually in development for use on battlefields right now; exoskeletons and all. While we’ve seen the tech, and now we’ve glimpsed the story, the multiplayer hasn’t really been defined as of yet (except in that very interesting little bit at the end of the trailer above).

A full reveal is coming though, and we’ll have it for you as soon as it hits. For now though, mark your calendars, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare storms the Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3, and PC this November the 4th.
