DaVinci’s Demons returns with the Blood of Brothers

Leonardo looks to bring Florence to order in the second installment of season two.

Leonardo employs his genius to restore order to Florence, while Pope Sixtus unites powers against them. Elsewhere, Nico attempts to withstand Riario’s temptations.

DaVinci’s Demons is hitting something of a stride here in season 2. The initial wave of episodes caught viewers attention with a take on the historical figure of Leonardo DaVinci that certainly proved unique, and the second season is making much of that setup pay off with a characterization that’s much darker and more complex than any we’ve seen before.

Even the Leonardo of the Assassin’s Creed series of video games isn’t nearly as cool as this one, and I was a pretty big fan of Ezio’s ‘Q’ in those games. Here are a few more clips form the second episode of season two of DaVinci’s Demons for you to tide you over, but make sure you tune into the Starz Channel on March 29th (that’s this Saturday) for the first running of the episode at 9pm eastern and pacific.
