Press Play’s terrific little platformer is on the way to the 360 and the PC this April.
“We are really proud of releasing what we believe will be one of the best-looking games on XBLA. Originally, Max: the Curse of Brotherhood was developed for Xbox 360. Late in development we couldn’t turn down the opportunity to reposition the game as an Xbox One launch title. Since we shipped the Xbox One version, we have worked to make what we believe is the best possible Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game,” explained Creative Director Mikkel Thorsted.
Max is most definitely a game looking title. I’m sure the visuals will take a bit of a hit on the 360, but the PC version should be right up there with the One’s presentation. Also pretty impressive though, and this wouldn’t affect the Xbox 360 edition, are the controls and the puzzles that make Max: The Curse of Brotherhood so much fun.
If you haven’t played, the game allows you to control a magic marker to draw things into the game world. And though that might not sound ground-breaking, trust me- it’s fun as all get out. Have a look at our review of the game and see why.
As for the 360 and PC versions, you can expect those on April 9th and 15th respectively.
