Sync Different with Color Cables

Colored cables for charging your gizmos that glow in the dark? That is pretty different.

The brainchild of longtime friends James Crofton and Nick Fineman, Color Cables are pretty easily some of the flat-out neatest charging accessories I’ve seen yet.

Available in iOS flavors of 30pin and Lightning as well as Micro USB, Color Cables come in bright colors like orange, blue, pink, and red; but they do a lot more than just look cool- they actually glow in the dark and are made with a nod to lasting. These little guys feature flat, anti-tangle cords, as well as a reinforced body that’s coated with a “soft gummy texture”. That not only makes them last a lot longer than the ones that were in the box with your device, but also makes them stand out in a crowd.

As someone who plugs about a half-dozen things into his charging station every day, this is definitely something to keep an eye on for the color-coding alone. The Color Cables are up on the crowd-funding site Indiegogo right now with a tentative ship date of next month. The campaign will run through the April 6th and you can support the company by clicking here.
