New Robocop trailer puts more bots on the streets

Omnicorp’s mechanized vision of law-enforcement and peace-keeping gets thrown a curveball by a certain part man, part machine cop.

I really like the look of this Robocop redux from Sony Pictures, even though I’ve been cold on recent remakes like Total Recall. Yes, the story is different from the classic film series from the ’80s/’90s, but it looks to be an updating that falls in line with the original’s themes quite nicely.

And I love why they’ve done with the characters- and the casting in general for the matter. Also, Robo looks pretty sharp in both classic ‘steel’ and black. Robocop (2014) releases into theaters this coming February the 12th.
