Call of Duty looking more cinematic than ever in new Ghosts campaign trailer

Yes, it’s the military action that you’re used to, but with a generous dose of sci-fi and semi-post apocalyptic mayhem.

I am not used to seeing this kind of content from Activision’s longstanding shooter series.

Not that I shouldn’t have expected it since we knew from the first trailer that there was going to be some kind of world-changing scenario in play for Ghosts. But this is all-out, movie-type, end of the world stuff here. Astronauts fighting with machine guns in space? Some kind of deadly destructive fuel rods being blasted into the US’ major cities? Full-scale invasion of the American homeland? Yep, kind of overshadows the dog.

Look for Call of Duty: Ghosts to shake things up on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC this November the 5th. Xbox one and PS4 editions of the game will be right there with the current-gen lot as they’re expected to hit, right along with the new consoles, in the eleventh month as well.
