Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag UK special edition unearthed

Right off the bat, it looks like there are some pretty big differences between the UK’s Buccaneer Edition and the Limited Edition  that’s been announced so far for the US.

Chiefly among them is that the actual ‘Black Flag’ has been removed and replaced by a set of lithographs. The Buccaneer Edition also doesn’t look like it’ll include the steelbook case from the American version – but it does come in a way cooler box that’s printed to look like a crate one might find right on the deck of the Jackdaw.

Whether that’s an improvement over the flag or not is up to you, personally though, I’m digging the lithos. I mean, where would you hang that flag?

Assassin’s Creed IV: Buccaneer Edition (and the Limited Edition in the US) will be on store shelves for the Xbox 360 and PS3, right alongside the standard versions of the game on October 29th.
