Hip-Hop stars added to Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel

EA will be adding the talents of Big Boi and B.o.B to the upcoming title- both musically and as guest stars in the game.

The two hip-hop stars will be playing T.W.O. operatives  Charles “Chuy” Rendall (Big Boi) and Anthony “Baker” Barnes (B.o.B) in the game and will lend a hand to the player in shooting up the nastiest baddies in Devil’s Cartel.

In addition to that, the pair will lend their voices to the game by way of the title track- Double or Nothing.

“One of our primary goals with Army of TWO The Devil’s Cartel is to bring the feeling of watching an action blockbuster movie to the game and adding that great theme song really helps set the right vibe, almost like you’re in the theater,” said Julian Beak, Executive Producer at Visceral Studios Montreal. “And aside from a great song, Big Boi and B.o.B also delivered outstanding performances that are really going to add to the story.”

And if that wasn’t enough of the pair for you, you’ll also be getting the chance to actually play as them in a special level designed as a pre-order incentive from participating retailers (GameStop in the US). The Hit-Makers kit will give access to the mission as well as custom weapon and mask skins created by both Big Boi and B.o.B

Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel is expected to hit retail on March 26th, 2013.
